If you are a member of  the Actor's Equity Association, you can sign up for an open call appointment slot through the Actor's Equity website. If you are NOT a member of the Actor's Equity Association, you simply show up to the open call, put your name on a list, and will then likely have a wait until you can be squeezed in (for the dancers calls, there likely won't be a wait).

About the show:

In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered

inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa

is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take

control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets

off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice

harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf.

Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, FROZEN is a powerful tale of sisterhood,

acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.

SEEKING:

[Elsa] Female, 20-30, any ethnicity. Next in line for the throne, Elsa has been born with magical

powers that can overwhelm her when she becomes afraid and harm others if not handled with

care. Fearful of hurting anyone, especially her beloved sister, Anna, Elsa becomes anxious and

withdrawn as she grows older, before eventually learning to take control of her powers. Strong

singer. VOCAL RANGE E3 - E5.

[Anna] Female, 20-30, any ethnicity. Filled with a tremendous amount of light, energy, and love,

Anna is a hopelessly optimistic extrovert at all ages, but as she grows older, she longs for

connection with others, especially her sister, Elsa. Anna is a warm and determined princess. A

strong singer with great comic timing. VOCAL RANGE: A3 - E5

[Olaf] Male, 20-35, any ethnicity. Goofy and sweet, Olaf possesses a childlike innocence and

excellent comic timing. The magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young.

Olaf is endearingly delighted by everything - especially the idea of summer. VOCAL RANGE:

Gb3 - A4.

[Kristoff] Male, 25-30, any ethnicity.  A rugged ice harvester who has been raised to be self-

dependent and hardworking. Kristoff has a sarcastic veneer and a rough-around-the-edges

exterior that hides a big heart. Taken in by the Hidden Folk when he was young, he loves Pabbie

and Bulda dearly but is a bit of a loner with a reindeer for a best friend - until he meets Anna.

VOCAL RANGE: G2 – Bb4 (mixed).

[Hans] Male, 25-30, any ethnicity. The ambitious Prince of the Southern Isles and overlooked

thirteenth son of a king. Hans constantly strives to find a way to make good and stand out. He

boasts an exceedingly charming facade that fools everyone into believing he’s Prince Charming,

when really, he’s just a jerk. VOCAL RANGE: G2 – G#4.

[Sven] Any gender identity, 25-35, any ethnicity.  Athletic and ideally a dancer or strong mover.

5’7” minimum. Physically strong. Sven is a reindeer of few words, fiercely loyal pal to Kristoff,

and loves giving the ice harvester a hard time. Good comic timing and terrific physical acting

skills who can devise a strong movement vocabulary to bring this furry charmer to life. VOCAL

RANGE: Open.

[Weselton] Male, 30-50, any ethnicity. Preferably under 5’10”. A visiting duke who possesses a

huge inferiority complex. A bombastic, overbearing sycophant, Weselton’s sole purpose is to

hobnob with influencers and royalty. VOCAL RANGE: Tenor/Character Tenor.

[Oaken/Bishop/Ensemble] Male, 30-55, Any Ethnicity. Oaken: An exceedingly cheerful and

convivial wandering salesperson and ardent devotee to all things cozy and comfortable. Bishop:

The bishop officiates the coronation and passing of the crown to Elsa. This spiritual supervisor

must communicate to the Townspeople of Arendelle in a serious and formal manner. VOCAL

RANGE: A2 – A4. NON-AEA

[Pabbie/ Ensemble] Male, 40-60, any ethnicity. Pabbie and Bulda are the mystical leaders of the

Hidden Folk who have a soft spot for strays. Ever benevolent, these parental figures want what’s

best for Kristoff, even if they are a bit misguided in their efforts. Amiable and endearing.

Featured in “Fixer Upper”. VOCAL RANGE: Ab2 – Gb4. NON-AEA

[Bulda/Ensemble] Female, 40-60, any ethnicity. Pabbie and Bulda are the mystical leaders of

the Hidden Folk who have a soft spot for strays. Ever benevolent, these parental figures want

what’s best for Kristoff, even if they are a bit misguided in their efforts. Amiable and endearing.

Featured in “Fixer Upper”. VOCAL RANGE: Mezzo-Soprano. NON-AEA

[King Agnarr/Ensemble] Male, 40-60, any ethnicity. The warm-hearted ruler of Arendelle is

committed to protecting both his family and the Townspeople from his eldest daughter’s powers.

Strong father figure. VOCAL RANGE: Baritone. NON-AEA

[Queen Iduna/Ensemble] Female, 40-60, any ethnicity. The queen possesses a sense of

rightness and kindness that guides her in her protection of her two young girls. A daughter of the

Northern Nomads, this queen has the ability to communicate with the Hidden Folk of the

mountains and so understands Elsa’s powers deeply. Iduna typifies grace and has a profound

sense of compassion. VOCAL RANGE: Mezzo-Soprano. NON-AEA

[Young Elsa] Female, under 18 to play 9-11, any ethnicity. Must be under 5’. Very strong singer

who can portray Elsa’s restrained nature. Next in line for the throne, Elsa has been born with

magical powers that can overwhelm her when she becomes afraid and harm others if not handled

with care. Fearful of hurting anyone, especially her beloved sister, Anna, Elsa becomes anxious

and withdrawn as she grows older, before eventually learning to take control of her powers. Will

also be part of the ensemble. VOCAL RANGE: F3 – E5. NON-AEA. UNPAID VOLUNTEER
