Why Donate?

5-Star Theatricals, like a lot of businesses, continues to be significantly impacted from the long lasting effect of COVID-19. We have no income to depend on without our usual showcase of performances, but are committed to remain in the community and move forward until COVID-19 is under control. This fundraiser will provide financial support during this time and allow us to continue our community events: car concerts, drive by concerts to our first responders, and our educational programs!

Your donations play an important role in bringing professional theatre to Thousand Oaks, and being a Friend of 5-Star Theatricals means you also help our outreach programs flourish throughout the year.

5-Star Theatricals supporters have helped build our reputation as one of the most loved and essential non-profit organizations serving Ventura and Los Angeles County today.

To date 5-Star Theatricals’ community outreach programs have served over 40,000 low income children, in-need seniors, and active military at no charge.

Your Donations Support 5-Star Theatricals’:

  • Annual holiday performance for the military and their families
  • Free admission to all active military and their families
  • Community senior events
  • Art-education and entertainment opportunities for low-income youth

Thank you again for your continued support! We look forward to seeing everyone on the other side of COVID-19!

Sharing the joy and magic of live theatre in your home

Keep yourself safe and stay in your PJ’s because 5-Star is bringing the show to you! We present THANKFUL, a song and dance variety show hosted by our very own Shrek; the super talented Trent Mills. This is our way of giving back to you, our patrons who have supported us for over thirty years.

Live theatre brings people together, lifts spirits, and allows the audience to forget their troubles like nothing else. So give us an hour of your time and we’ll make your cares disappear. THANKFUL is our way of expressing how thankful we truly our to all of the performers who have graced our stage, all the hard working crews we have had on our productions, and again our spectacular audiences who fill our ears with their laughter and applause.

This special event brings together a cabaret of spectacular talents and will also feature some magical cameos from past performers, like Katharine McPhee, Adam Pascal, Julia Lester, and more.

Tap your dancing feet to your favorite tunes, sing along with your favorite songs, heck….even belt it out to the rafters. (You’re at home…go crazy!)

This event is free to everyone, but we are also using this as a fundraiser and asking for donations to help keep our theatre running in these ghost light stage times. Theatre will always be there for you; and we hope you will be here for us as well.
