Holiday at the Movies, a special Supper Club event by 5-Star Theatricals is only a few short days away! Taking place this Saturday, December 9th at the Palm Garden Hotel in Thousand Oaks, the event will feature music and more from your favorite holiday films.

Meet Our Cast of Singers & Performers!

Meet your host: Harrison Meloeny. We are so fortunate to have Harrison return to 5-Star Theatricals as the host of our “Holiday at the Movies” supper club! Harrison has worked with 5-Star in our productions of Mary Poppins and Grease, is known for his work in the LA premiere of Spring Awakening and the revival of Bare: A Pop Opera and is also active in immersive theatre. He will guide us through the evening as the “Host with the Most”.

Juliana Sloan was not only our Mary Poppins in our production of MARY POPPINS but she is an award-winning, classically trained American actor and vocalist. She is best known for her portrayals of Miss Wendy in Disney/Pixar's Toy Story 4, Rebecca in Lifetime's Every Other Holiday, and Millie in the first Broadway National Tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie. She has performed live with two-time Oscar winner Richard M. Sherman all across the country, recorded albums with Walt Disney Records and has appeared as a guest soloist with many symphonies around the world. Juliana is also the creator of the comedic web series Finding Fillion, directed by the acclaimed Joel Zwick (My Big Fat Greek Wedding)

Marc Ginsburg has entertained our community in Beauty and the Beast as Lumiere, Che in Evita and was an audience favorite in his role as Lord Farquaad in Shrek. You don’t want to miss this versatile actor in an intimate setting singing some of your all time holiday favorite songs.

“The most priceless character, however, is arguably Lord Farquaad, the ultimate antagonist who might be short in stature but still manages to be larger than life. The credit for this goes to the astonishing charisma and ingenuity of Marc Baron Ginsburg, who previously amazed as Lumiere in 5-Star Theatricals’ production of ‘Beauty and the Beast.’”

Welcome back to our Madam Librarian, Kate McDonough! Not only did she sing for us at our last Supper Club, but she was on our main stage in The Music Man! Kate was nominated for an LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Marian Paroo in The Music Man, opposite Adam Pascal as Harold Hill with 5-Star Theatricals.

Tristan Turner is returning to 5-Star to perform once again at our Supper Club event! You saw him in our production of The Addams Family where he played Lucas, the incredible “normal” boyfriend of Wednesday Addams. Tristan has also joined us for our outdoor concerts as well as singing at the Naval Base for two years!
