It gives us great pleasure to showcase our second drive-in experience, themed “Silver Linings and Songs of Resilience & Change” in the safety of your own space & in compliance with social distancing. Unplug for one night and feel the transformative energy of live music and theatrical entertainment as we are thrilled to take you back to drive-in times. On Sunday, September 13th, you’ll enjoy a beautiful night of uplifting music from your favorite 5-Star performers.

Tickets: Front row parking* = $50 per car 

All Other Parking = $40 per car

MOVIE NIGHT TALENT STARS

What would life be? Without a song or a dance what are we? So I say thank you for the music, for giving it to me.”

Trent Mills: Our host for the evening! Trent most recently played Marcellus in “Music Man” starring Adam Pascal and voiced the character Lero-ro for the anime series “Tower of God”. Other favorite credits include Shrek in “Shrek the Musical” (at 5-Star) Casey in “Swing! The Musical”, Ash in “The Evil Dead the Musical” (Nat’l Tour) and lots of wonderful concerts at Rockwell, 54 Below, Joe’s Pub, and the first ever 5-Star Car Concert!  Thank you for having me!

Brittany Anderson: Brittany is thrilled to be a part of this concert with 5-Star! She is from Southern California and received her B.A. in Music from The Master’s University. Some of her past favorite roles: Laetitia in “The Old Maid and the Thief ” (PCC), Charlene in “Dreamgirls” (Cupcake Theater), Medda Larkin in “Newsies” (SVCAC), Mrs. Britt in “The Music Man” (5-Star Theatricals), and recently played Sarah in Musical Theatre West’s production of “Ragtime”. Five years ago, she was a part of the Josh Groban: Stages Live concert, which aired on PBS. Brittany would like to thank her family and friends for their support, and to Tal and 5-Star for the opportunity to be a part of this concert.

Jonalyn Saxer: Jonalyn Saxer is currently starring as Karen in the first national tour of “Mean Girls” after appearing in the original Broadway cast in the ensemble, and as an understudy for Cady, Karen, and Regina. She will be seen as a Jet girl in the upcoming “West Side Story” movie remake directed by Steven Spielberg. Other Broadway credits include “Cats”, “Holiday Inn”, “Honeymoon In Vegas”, and “Bullets Over Broadway”. She has performed in regional theaters around the country, and graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University. She has been in numerous 5-Star productions, starting with “My Fair Lady” when she was 5 years old. Other 5-Star productions include “White Christmas”, “42nd Street”, “Singin’ In The Rain”, “The Wizard of Oz”, “Carousel”, and many more.

Melissa Lyons: A Southern California native, Melissa has worked extensively in concerts and musical theatre throughout California. She is the singing voice of Barbie for numerous films, toys and albums, including the animated features “Barbie as the Island Princess” and “Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper.” Some of her credits include: Eponine in “Les Miserables” (National Tour); Grizabella in “Cats” (Cabrillo Music Theatre); Peter Pan in “Peter Pan” (Cabrillo Music Theatre); Principal soloist for California Philharmonic (Walt Disney Concert Hall). She has also been a member of the Los Angeles Musical Theatre Guild for 13 years and has been seen in their productions of “City of Angels” (Bobbi/Gabby), “Spitfire Grill” (Shelby), and “Chess” (Svetlana) to name a few! She holds a Masters in Music (voice performance) from Cal State Long Beach and a B.A. in Music (voice performance) from UCLA. Melissa currently teaches voice at Fullerton College.

Casey Comstock: Casey is a voice and piano teacher with students across the country.  A graduate of Indiana University, Casey is a classically-trained pianist and professional vocalist, singer-songwriter, and accompanist with performance and studio credits spanning the genres of pop, rock and musical theatre. In addition, Casey is a freelance writer, whose work has been published in the Chicago Quarterly Review and been awarded the Myrtle Armstrong Prize for Fiction.

Mitchell Johnson: Mitchell is excited to be a part of this awesome drive-in experience with 5-Star Theatricals. His first production with 5-Star was as Judah in “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” directed by Will North and choreographed by Dave Scott. He has been blessed to a part of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (5- Star Theatricals),  “Shrek” (5-Star Theatricals), and the one night only performance of “Dreamgirls: In Concert”. DIRECTIONS AND PARKING FLOW

Front row tickets* will have priority parking.

All other parking spaces are on a first come, first served basis.
